U .S. Masters Swimming will celebrate its 50th anniver- sary in 2020, and we’re looking for anything that helps us tell the story of our organization, from the 1970 AAU Masters Championships in Amarillo, Texas, the first meet in the organization’s history, to today. We need your help to tell it. All of those photos you took at swim meets, all of those ribbons and medals you hung onto, all of those meet pro- grams and results you saved—anything that might be sitting in your attic, basement, or office—we’re interested in it. If you have a digital photo you’d like to share, please email it to publications@usmastersswimming.org with the story behind it. If you have a hard copy of a photo, please email us and we’ll help you submit a scanned copy. If you wish to donate or loan a piece of memorabilia, please shoot us an email. Don’t worry if you haven’t been a member since the 1970s. We’re celebrating the entirety of our organization’s history, whether it happened 10, 20, 30, 40, or 50 years ago. Whatever you’ve got from your time as a Masters swimmer is part of the histo- ry of the organization. We hope to collect as much as we can this summer and fall to archive for our special coverage in 2020. We’re going to celebrate our history in all of our publica- tions, from our website to our STREAMLINES newsletters to SWIMMER magazine. 2020 is going to be a special time in our history, and we want you to be a part of it. Please email us at publications@usmastersswimming.org if you have any ques- tions or if you’d like to help.
